Top Things To Do In Waterton

HIKE
Waterton Park  boasts 255 km (191 miles) of trails. They range in difficulty from a short strolls to steep treks of several days duration. Trails in Waterton Park also lead to extensive trail systems in Montana's Glacier National Park and in British Columbia's Akamina-Kishenina Provincial Park.

GOLF 
The Waterton Lakes Golf Course  is a challenging, fun course. Like most of the courses in the Rockies, the mountain scenery is often a "hazard" all its own. 

BOAT 
Hit Cameron lake and rent a canoe, kayak or paddle boat and enjoy the scenery and pristine water

HIT RED ROCK CANYON 
Red Rock Canyon is a unique area, the layers of red and green colored minerals offer a brilliant contrast to each other and the lush surroundings.  Climb down and wade through the creek or brave the cold waters and swim in the shallow pools along the canyon. 

RENT A QUADCYCLE FROM PATS 
The quadcycle is a must for all visitors to Waterton. There is no better way to explore the town than to jaunt through with your family and friends on this multi-person bicycle. 

COMPLETE THE TRIPLE CROWN CHALLENGE 
The Triple Crown of Waterton  is a hiking challenge, encouraging hikers to complete three world class hiking trail; Crypt Lake, Akamina Ridge and the Alderson-Carthew Summit in one summer. Those who complete the challenge get their names put up on the glory board displayed in Pearls Café and on several Waterton websites. To commemorate your awesome achievement, Triple Crown T-shirts are available at Pearls Cafe for $15.00.

VISIT GLACIER 
Take the International Boat Cruise to Goat Haunt Montana and marvel at the international boarder cut line through the trees along side the mountain.

HORSEBACK RIDE 
The mountain views make for a beautiful ride, and several stables are within a 15 minute drive of the park.

HIKE BEARS HUMP 
See the iconic view of Waterton from the top of Bear’s Hump. A challenging, but short  hike, the effort is well worth it.
